PASTURE-RAISED PORK

Our piglets begin their lives at Our Farm in a warm, secure hoophouse and by the time it gets warmer outside, they are ready be put out to pasture. We make sure that the pigs are then moved to several different areas around the farm throughout the summer so they always have fresh grass to eat. While at Our Farm, they enjoy a happy pig's life grazing, rutting, wallowing and bathing.

Our pigs are fed local grains and receive vitamin and mineral supplements with their chow on a regular basis. We also enrich their diets with produce like tomatoes, melons, and greens, which they love. Pigs on the pasture are a beautiful thing and result in better tasting, healthier pork.

Individual cuts are available at the Farmer’s Markets, and halves or quarters priced by the hanging weight can be ordered from the farm. Cuts include pork chops, tenderlion, ribs, shoulder roast, sirloin roast, choice of 3 types of sausage, bacon, ham and ham steaks.

All for only $3.75/lb

This price covers custom cutting, smoking, sausage making, vacuum wrapping and flash freezing.
